  • Overview

    We are seeking an Office 365 SharePoint Collaboration and Modern Workplace professional to join our team.  This is a position in Concurrency’s Modern Productivity and Collaboration practice and would be a member of a team implementing sites and portals, document management, forms and workflow and social collaboration solutions. This position requires the ability to implement projects from planning and design, implementation and migration to production rollout and support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Portals and SharePoint or similar solutions. The ability to work with organizational leaders, users and other team members to drive the architected solution. Must be able to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and provide efficient Collaboration solutions. We are seeking various levels for this position, some experience to seasoned technology professionals welcomed.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and create digital workplace portals, sites and collaboration experiences built on Office 365 and SharePoint
    • Ability to learn Microsoft PowerApps and Flow.  
    • Provide consulting services to a client regarding Office 365, OneDrive and SharePoint configuration and business process automation solutions.
    • Ability to be a solution consultant on small and large projects.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
    • Verbal and written communication, problem solving, and team-work skills
    • Create solution documentation.
    • Providing technical assistance and support to other employees related to SharePoint and OneDrive
    • Office 365 and SharePoint Administration
    • Participate in team events, presentations, blogging and other social media.
    • Participate in social media and events to evangelize your knowledge and the Concurrency brand

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to work independently with a client
    • Problem solving and business analysis skills
    • Experience in implementing SharePoint document management or other Enterprise Content Management solutions
    • Office 365 and SharePoint configuration experience and services like search.
    • 1 year of SharePoint 2013/2016, Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business
    • Understanding of ECM and Information Architecture: functionality, site mapping, taxonomy, content classification, best practices, content types, metadata, permissions and security, compliance and auditing.
    • Understanding of business process automation (forms/workflow) design and deployment experience
    • Problem solver with good analytical skills
    • Good interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and self-motivated
    • Ability to work independently, but also successfully work on a team
    • Detail-oriented and sound independent judgment
    • Self-initiated, enthusiastic and driven to succeed

    Desired Skills:

    • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred
    • 1-2 years of SharePoint 2013/2016, Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business
    • Experience with service-oriented architectures, transaction processing, XML, SOAP, REST, API
    • Some web development or scripting experience such as HTML5, React, Angular, CSS, JavaScript and PowerShell.

    Nice to have skills:

    • Installation and configuration of SharePoint and 3rd party solutions
    • Social Collaboration and Yammer experience is a plus
    • K2, Nintex, SharePoint Designer
    • Governance and Compliance Planning
    • Document capture
    • Previous Consulting Experience Preferred (1 – 2 years)
    • Infrastructure (hardware, software, data, networking)
