Concurrency is growing our DevOps practice to service new and existing accounts. A Concurrency Managing Architect, with the guidance of their Solution Lead, is responsible for managing the delivery of client projects and people. This delivery includes the creation, assignment, and completion of technical tasks will ensure exceptional delivery of services. This role works closely with their Solution Lead, Sales, Recruiting, and Resource areas of Concurrency to successfully run and grow the solution.

 

This role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect a solution by mapping a customer business need to a technology solution. The role requires an individual who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in design and deployment of infrastructure solutions. In addition, this role may directly manage people including career development, performance management, and utilization.

 

You’ll be hands on developing cookbooks/recipes with tools used all over the industry to provide Infrastructure as a service: Git/Github, Chef, Artifactory, HipChat, Jenkins, OpenStack, VMWare, and FOSS to build automated testing and delivery pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Proven success driving and winning pre-sales efforts around Concurrency solutions
  • Experience developing and modifying assigned solution and service offerings to meet evolving client needs
  • Experience driving marketing and community awareness including participation in annual planning of team events, presentations, and blogging and/or other social media
  • Experience assisting talent acquisition for Solution team and Concurrency
  • You’ll actively use Agile methods with the team to manage WIP, flow, and prioritization of work (not just stand-ups)
  • Evangelize sound automation designs and practices
  • Share knowledge with the broader organization and potentially external communities
  • Participate in the Agile sprints and flash builds to design, coach, and guide product solutions
  • Heterogeneous operating system environments (Linux, Windows)
  • Excellent object oriented programming skills
  • Experience with scripting in Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, and other related languages
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management, Agile, Lean, DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Knowledge of integration testing (Jenkins, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software packaging
  • Database platform skills and database modeling

  • Continue creating effective relationships with Microsoft and other Concurrency partners
  • Maintaining team and individual certifications and readiness for assigned Concurrency solution and service offerings
  • Lead a project team of consultants on simultaneous client projects
