Successful candidates will be focused and highly motivated individuals with strong troubleshooting skills and a perfectionist approach to developing client solution. You’ll be hands on developing cookbooks/recipes with tools used all over the industry to provide Infrastructure as a service: Git/Github, Chef, Artifactory, HipChat, Jenkins, OpenStack, VMWare, and FOSS to build automated testing and delivery pipelines


The consultant will be responsible for supporting the software development lifecycle from product inception through production release while providing the most effective and efficient development environment for the development staff.


  • You’ll actively use Agile methods with the team to manage WIP, flow, and prioritization of work (not just stand-ups)
  • Evangelize sound automation designs and practices
  • Share knowledge with the broader organization and potentially external communities
  • Participate in the Agile sprints and flash builds to design, coach, and guide product solutions
  • Heterogeneous operating system environments (Linux, Windows)
  • Excellent object oriented programming skills
  • Experience with scripting in Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, and other related languages
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management, Agile, Lean, DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Knowledge of integration testing (Jenkins, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software packaging
  • Database platform skills and database modeling
